Dowdeswell Forestry Services deliver locally sourced, 100% British, Ready To Burn Hardwood Logs, Kindling and Smokeless fuel directly to your door.
We will deliver within 20 miles free of charge* on all orders over £85.00. *Deliveries over 20 miles will be subject to a delivery fee of £2.50 per extra mile, both ways.

If you are looking for smaller quantities, you can come up and see us, we sell Nets of Logs, Kindling and 20kg Bags of Smokeless Fuel directly from head office at Keepers Cottage, Lower Dowdeswell.
Where does the wood for our logs come from?
Our wood is sourced from Woodlands that we manage, usually within 50 miles of our home in Cheltenham, within the UK. None of our Timber is ever purchased from overseas. This allows us to oversee the whole process - from the careful selection of the timber, to the harvesting extraction, transport and log processing. All of our woodlands are sustainably managed and we are constantly striving to reduce our carbon footprint, so you can rest assured that the wood you are burning is both ecologically and environmentally friendly. Due to this care and attention our firewood is also Biomass Suppliers List (BSL) authorised. This means you can use our firewood if you are claiming the Renewable Heat Incentive.

Loose Logs We sell logs by the Cubic Metre: All prices are inclusive of VAT and local delivery (within 20 miles of GL54 4LX).
1 Cubic Metre - £105.00 (Standard size 9" logs) (We can also offer 12", 15" & 18" at no extra cost) (8" cut logs = £110.00) One cubic metre of loose seasoned hardwood logs. This equates to approx. 300 logs. 2 Cubic Metres - £200.00 (Standard size 9" logs or we can cut them larger) (8" cut logs = £210.00) Two cubic metres of loose seasoned hardwood logs. This is approx 600 logs. There is a slight discount for ordering 2 cubic metres therefore better value for money. 3 Cubic Metres - £292.50 (Standard size 9" logs or we can cut them larger) (8" cut logs = £307.50) Three cubic metres of loose seasoned hardwood logs. This is approx. 900 logs. There is again a slight discount for ordering 3 cubic metres therefore better value for money. 4 Cubic Metres - £380.00 (Standard size 9" logs or we can cut them larger) (8" cut logs = £400.00) Four cubic metres of loose seasoned hardwood logs. This is approx. 1,200 logs. There is again a slight discount for ordering 4 cubic metres therefore better value for money. All Logs Must Be Paid for Prior to Delivery Stacking service can be provided at £20.00 per cubic metre please enquire on ordering. Payment by Contactless preferred. When visiting our premises face coverings are optional, as we are a small team we'd appreciate if you are unwell that you do not visit us. Thank you for your understanding. Free delivery applies on orders over £85.00 or if you are ordering any loose logs.
